Class Descriptions
Aquasize: This is an hour long low to no impact aqua fitness class. It is designed for the beginner in fitness, arthritis fighter, stroke victim, osteoporosis, or persons fighting any other ailment that may need a low impact fitness routine. Even though it is low impact, it is truly a high energy workout.
Body Sculpting: Body sculpting works the whole body; utilizing weights, bands, tubes, fanny lifters, exercise balls along with cardio to sculpt the body, burn fat and tone the muscles.
Cycling: An intense forty-five minute workout; designed to work cardiovascular and muscular endurance on specially designed bikes. Levels of intensity and resistance change throughout the class ensuring to keep the heart rate up and the muscles burning.
Deep Water: A forty five minute class made for all levels. This non-impact program is a high intensity workout incorporating a warm-up, cardio workout, core work in order to elevate the heart rate. The class is then completed with a cool down. *Note: One doesn't need to know how to swim to participate, for a buoyancy belt is worn.
Floor Done Light (FDL): This is a class for everyone and every fitness level. It's forty-five minutes of basic floor aerobics with no steps involved. May include some resistance training.
Gentle Yoga: A yoga class made for those that have limitations and can't take the advanced style. Perfect for beginners in yoga or fitness, as well as, for osteoporosis or arthritis fighters.
Hydrofit: An hour long class designed to work both cardiovascular and muscular endurance. This class utilizes the water, noodles, and aquabelts to give one great workout. This particular class is great for all fitness levels. For beginners in fitness, anything can be modified.
Muscular Strength *SilverSneakers: Designed to increase strength, range of movement, agility, balance, coordination, to improve participants' functional capacities, physical fitness level and sense of well-being. (SilverSneakers Fitness Program) For More Information
Pilates: Body sculpting at the best, working out the core to achieve a long, lean look using your own body weight. For More Information
Flow Yoga: A flowing sequence of hatha yoga poses to increase flexibility, strength, balance and breath.
Powerhouse Muscle Pump (PMP): This class is designed to ensure an overall body-pumping workout. This isn't a cardio class, but it is guaranteed to get the blood flowing, the heart going and the muscles toning.
Spin/Sculpt: This combines two classes in one! Spinning class and body sculpt! This one is a BIG hit. Join in the fitness fun!
Step Done Light (SDL): This class is for everyone who loves the step. For all fitness levels. It’s 45 minutes of basic step moves which get the heart pumping.
Stretch Yoga: This class uses the benefits of Stretching and the benefits of water fitness and puts them in one therapeutic class. This class is perfect for all levels of fitness, balance and flexibility. Shoes are required for this class.
